Martin Henderson is preparing to play doctor again. The Off the Map actor has joined NBC’s The Secret Lives of Husbands and Wives‘ new pilot.
He’ll play Kyle Dunn, a former flight surgeon and astronaut who returns home after a prolonged absence and finds life with his family isn’t what it seems.
The Secret Lives of Husbands and Wives is an evening soap/thriller about three suburban couples affected by a murder, is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television; Entourage‘s Perrey Reeves and Soul Food‘s Nicole Ari Parker have been cast as two of the wives.
Henderson, who hails from New Zealand, played clinic-running doc Ben Keever in ABC’s short-lived medical drama, Off the Map. In addition to appearing in an episode of House, the actor has had roles on several Australian dramas, including Big Sky and Sweat.
