EVERYONE has to watch The New Normal! It is the best comedy I have seen in years! It’s offensive with a fantastic Ellen Barkin – that needs an award for her performance!
The show is about a gay couple that use a surrogate to have a baby – who has a young “Little Miss Sunshine”. The only problem is – the surrogate comes with a psycho nana! I cried with laughter and emotion sooo much in the first two eps – but the show is also political and very Hollywood. Case in point from a future episode – if it was Spongebob Squarepants vs Dora The Explorer – what would their policies be – Sponge = environment while Dora could do foreign policy!
I watched the first ep and ended up watching all in the season available to me.
Kids could watch it and not get the references, yet adults will laugh their butts off. Saying that it may not be for everyone if you are not gay friendly. It is a fantastic show that promotes tolerence and love. I give this show 10/10!
Look out for a great cameo from an A list movie star in the first episode.
