Little Women
You have to wonder what on earth's happening to our kids. Especially little girls. They're bombarded with sexy images. Raunchy video clips, billboards and store catalogues. Then there are the trashy fashions, explicit undies, even Barbie dolls in skimpy costumes. The message is you've got to be "hot" to be cool. No one can deny that sex sells, but why sell it to young children? That's a question currently confronting the politicians in Canberra. They've launched a Senate inquiry into the whole issue of the sexualisation of children. Fair enough, but many experts simply say - let kids be kids.

Standing By Her Man
He was a disgraced football star with a taste for drugs and a nasty history with women. She was an aspiring model with big ambitions. Together they were toxic. Ever since AFL star Wayne Carey and Kate Nielson got together, their relationship has been a disaster. Violent, drug-fuelled arguments - run-ins with the cops and that well-publicised incident in a restaurant when a glass somehow smashed on Kate's face. Surely, she'll leave him now, we all thought. Well, she did - eventually but now, fresh from re-hab, Kate's back, back with her man. And the big question we're all asking again is: why?

Tales of Hoffman
He's incorrigible! Liz Hayes has met a few actors in her time, but she tells us there's no one quite like Dustin Hoffman. After 40 years in the movie business, two Oscars and a string of box office hits - from The Graduate to Meet the Fockers - you'd think it was time he slowed down a bit. No way, at 70, he's still quite a handful. Liz was scheduled to have a quiet little chat about his new movie, Kung Fu Panda. But he soon threw that script right out the window. It was a riot from the word go - when he solemnly promised to tell us the truth. And, that's exactly what he did.
