Tonight on AIR WAYS, a plucky eight-year-old gets up close and personal with the pilots; a passenger experiences some weighty issues on the Gold Coast; we sit front row at a magical sky-high fashion parade; and witness an airport family reunion.
Meeting the pilot, sitting in the cockpit and having a special tour of an aeroplane would be exciting for any eight year old. But Ethan is extra special. This little battler is recovering from a stroke and to celebrate the fact that he can now travel, his grandma Suzanne and dad Justin are taking him on a trip to the Gold Coast. And Tiger staff are more than happy to give him some extra special attention to make the trip even more memorable.
Maynard and his mates have just spent every last cent holidaying on the Gold Coast and can't afford their excess baggage charge. So they decide to repack, reorder, throw away and wear whatever they can in order to get their weight down.
Flying on a budget airline means forgoing in flight entertainment, but that doesn't mean there's no fun. In fact, when Magic Michael is your air steward anything can happen and on this flight to the Gold Coast he organises an impromptu fashion parade which keeps everyone entertained.
Rebecca has just returned to Australia from a two-year working holiday in the USA. She's flying home to Rockhampton to surprise her mum. But with some old grievances between them, will her mum be happy to see her?
