This week on ALL SAINTS, Frank and Mike come face to face with a cold-blooded killer who forces them both to reconsider where their lives are going; Gabrielle watches Steve and Amy very closely as they deal with what looks like a desperate suicide attempt; Bart’s frustrated by hospital delays as his young female patient suffers unbearable pain; and Charlotte is left to run the ED and, in the process, learns that All Saints’ new doctor isn’t all he appears to be.
Frank and Mike find themselves out of their comfort zone and in solitary confinement at a high security prison, treating its deadliest inmate, Mathew King. From the moment they arrive they become pawns in Mathew’s game. While they examine him, he also examines them and reveals some truths about Frank he would rather not face. Eventually, Frank is left with no choice but to bring Mathew to All Saints. He quickly lives to regret this decision.
Later, when Mike questions Frank about Mathew’s analysis of him, Frank is quick to point out that his insights apply to Mike as well. With this in mind, Mike heads back to the Blues Club to see Juliet.
With Frank away, Charlotte is in charge of the ED. Despite an overflowing Waiting Room she takes on the challenge with gusto. However, she quickly finds out that running an ED is no easy task. The ED staff rally around Charlotte, saving her from disaster, but her honesty gets the better of her in the end.
Steve helps Charlotte deal with a suspected suicide attempt. He teaches Amy a few things along the way and Gabrielle begins to question where Steve’s motives lie.
