The Creeper sabotages the Core by destroying a main root. When the root is hit, a multitude of corespore shoot out of the Core. Each of the corespore controls a specific species language and when The Creeper destroys the corespore the animals revert to their original language. The kids must find the origin spore that allows the animals to communicate. Alex and Iggy save the day with a magic trick.
