Tonight we're very privileged to have Australian rockstar Ian Moss and international superstar Kelly Clarkson with us to perform.

The judges tip it as one of the best shows in Australian Idol history. Someone still has to go though.

Before that though, Kelly Clarkson performs her hit Never Again. I liked this version more than the one she performed on Canadian Idol.

The top 9 then perform Choir Girl with Ian Moss.

Now, 9 people are ready to hear the verdict from this weeks vote. Ben is safe. Mark is the first member of the bottom three though. Tarisai and Carl are both safe. Matt Corby is, of course, safe as is Natalie. The three remaining contestants, Jacob, Daniel and Marty know that only one of them is safe. Joining Mark in the bottom three is Jacob and Daniel.

After losing a few girls over the last few weeks, tonight it's a boys club. Mr touchdown, Daniel Mifsud, is safe though leaving Jacob Butler and Mark Da Costa to nervously wait through another set of ads.

The judges all tend to think that it will be Jacob leaving but they're wrong. Mark Da Costa is outski and Mark Holden is speechless.

Mark performs Coldplay's Yellow as his final performance on the Australian Idol stage.
