Seventeen-year-old Mitchell Steele spends most of his time away from home working as a stockman in far north Queensland. He can be away for months on end, rounding up tens of thousands of cattle, breaking in horses, sleeping in swags and usually ending the day with a sing-along around the camp fire. The self taught musician has been a regular on the country music festival scene and would most like to perform a duet with country-crooners Garth Brooks or Keith Urban.
What a load of tripe. He can't ride to save himself and as for mustering months at a time, I think he dreamt it.

Mitchell Steele is so gawjus..
I am like obsessed, I wanna move to georgetown to meet him. I couldn't keep my eyes off him!!
And the fact that he is a cowboy and lives in the country makes him even more perfect....
I hope he gets brought back on Idol, like through the wildcards

Mitchell Steele a legend to be remembered.
he use to go to our school and we would all be in the boarding house with him playing and singing funny lyrics about each other. We all miss you Mitch and you’re the best voice there. Goodluck from C.C.C.
