Tonight we will find out who the final two for Australian Idol 08 are. After the elimination, the two finalists will each perform their winners single which has been written specifically for them.

The votes are in and the first person through to the grand finale at the Sydney Opera house is Wes Carr.

The second person to make it to the Grand Final is Luke Dickens. That means Mark Spano is going home. Mark sings INXS - 100 Essential Love Songs - Never Tear Us Apart Never Tear Us Apart before he leaves the stage for the last time.

Now for the performances of the night.

Luke Dickens
Metallica - Garage Inc. - Turn the Page Turn the Page

That was ok. Nothing really outstanding though. After Wes' performance that closed out the show last night you'd expect an all out performance. That wasn't it.

Wes Carr
The Living End - White Noise - White Noise White Noise
Voting Information

I didn't realise that Wes had been in a band with a former Silverchair member. It makes sense as to how superior he is as a performer compared to Luke who is really just an amateur at best.

Luke Dickens
When We Hear Hallelujah - Lyrics
Voting Information

Not a bad song but Luke really seemed to struggle with it and it seemed to be a stretch for his range.

Wes Carr

Voting Information

I prefer this song much more than Luke's. Not to mention Wes is a natural born performer. I'll be very surprised if Wes isn't crowned the next Australian Idol.
