Channel Seven Melbourne put in a strong performance on Tuesday night with four shows in the Top Ten and an All People share of 27.2 per cent.
The second semi-final of AUSTRALIA'S GOT TALENT (430,000) was Seven's top rating show for the night and dominated the 7.30pm timeslot. Spoons Perry spooned her way to a place in the Grand Final with a dynamic rendition of the classic Black Betty. Nine's 20 to 1 (384,000) and Big Brother (258,000) and The Simpsons (255,000) fell short on entertainment value. Nationally, AUSTRALIA'S GOT TALENT was the viewer's choice with 1,583,000 viewers with a convincing lead over the opposition.
Seven's medical drama ALL SAINTS was the fifth most watched program of the night with 392,000 viewers.
TODAY TONIGHT (377,000) occupied the 7th spot with a strong lead over Nine's A Current Affair (352,000), which failed to make a Top Ten finish.

If a bloke who blows a gum leaf to John Lennon can make it to last year's Grand Final then everybody's got a chance and that's what I love about the show!'
