Australia's Next Top Model

After huge public outcry over her bullying tactics during the latest series of Australia's Next Top Model, Demelza Reveley has beaten Alexandra Girdwood for the coveted crown.

After the judges vote was tied at three a piece, many would have expected the public backlash over her treatment of fellow contestant Alamela Rowan to sway in favour of Alex. This wasn't to be the case as by some small miracle, the public seem to have forgiven and provided the votes to secure her the win.

Tonight's grand finale of Australia's Next Top Model is coming live from Luna Park. Alex Perry, Jonathan Pease and Charlotte Dawson are being joined on the judging panel by Kirsty Clements, Napolean Perdis and Priscilla Leighton Clark.

The girls need to book as many shows as they can. The girls both get cast by Bowie Wong but Alex isn't happy that they both got the job as she wants the advantage. At Wayne Cooper, Alex gets cast and Demelza misses out.

At Bec & Bridge they meet a room full of other models auditioning for a part in the show. Demelza scores one back on Alex. At the Alex Perry casting both of them feel intimidated by the other skinny models waiting for their chance to audition. They both are cast in Alex's show.

Alex is sad to see Caris leaving but she's not too sad once she realises that she's joing Demelza and Sam that they're heading to the Big Apple.

Arriving in New York the girls are stoked to see yellow taxis and the empire state building. They're finding it all a little surreal. The hotel they're staying at is called The Alex and they're staying in the penthouse suite. They love New York.

Demelza pushes her way to the rooms and picks the best room and bed. Samantha has the king bed while Alex shares the room with her and has a single bed in the corner. Alex wants to just share the bed with Samantha but she's not interested in that at all.

Demelza is happy to not be sharing a room with Sam as she's somewhat scared of her.

Jodhi wakes up the girls who are a little jet lagged still. She tells them that today they would be potentially be meeting their New York agent.

Demelza is sad that she's lost a good friend in Alyce but she's happy that she's lost a distraction so she'll be on her game to win this.

The phone rings and it's Jmail. The top 3 are heading overseas at the end of the week to a fashion destination.

Charlotte waltzes in with Ian Thorpe and says that they're there to give them some lessons about working with the media.

They fire the girls questions and Demelza really stands up and impresses Charlotte who really hasn't been a fan. She sets the bench mark for the other girls. Caris bombs though as she takes a long time to answer. Sam can't really answer anything but that has been a trend over the last few weeks. Alex starts off well but she falls for the donut gag and contradicts herself over how she would buy a fake bag.

Alyce as pretty sad for Rebecca being eliminated from Australia's Next Top Model. Both Demelza and Alex think she's pretty lucky to be scraping through each week.

A box arrives from Jodhi with 5 shirts in it. They each have one word on them which they arrange to read "Prepare to know your fashion".

Jodhi arrives with Fernando - a stylist, writer and all round guru. Fernando had been through their wardrobes to pull out like their worst fashion faux pas. He asks Demelza who bought her clothes. She says she buys them herself but Fernando believes her mother buys her clothes.

The girls have to dress up to show off their style. Caris gets burned badly with every outfit she comes out wearing. Fernando thinks she has no style whatsoever.

After the street and fringe fashion they're told they'll be doing high fashion this afternoon. They head to Vogue with great excitement and meet Jonathan on the top floor where Kirsty Clement is waiting for them.

The girls didn't want Leiden to go. Demelza was hoping that Alyce would have gone.

The girls are onto Alex and her fat laced muffins. She thinks it's not too much of a big deal though compared to the food that the other girls are stuffing into their faces.

With only 6 girls left it's all starting to feel very small.

The girls get a few hours sleep before they need to head to the airport for their trip to Fiji. At the airport, Jonathan tells them that they will be doing a catwalk show on the flight to Fiji.

The girls struggle to get their make up on during the turbulence but Jonathan says it's a good way to learn to deal with things under pressure.

Rebecca has too much of a muppet mouth. Alyce doesn't seem to take it too seriously and doesn't look too professional. Alex owns it.

The girls enjoy their first moments in Fiji and are welcomed to their resort by singing Fijians. They're loving their new home away from home. They toast themselves as the Top 6.

Alyce felt like vomiting being in the bottom two last week.

This week the girls are going to be getting their groove on with some dance lessons. They get dressed up in ballet gear and of course, Leiden hates it. They get some basic ballet warm ups and then they have to learn a lyrical ballet piece. Leiden, however, sits on the side and doesn't even try.

Hip hop is up next and Demelza thinks she's just too white for hip hop. Leiden is still holding back and is once again told that she needs to have some confidence.

She gets pulled up and told that she needs to think about the opportunity that she has and how others who auditioned and didn't get in would feel if they could see how she isn't giving it a decent go.

Alexandra is paired up with Leiden for the next part of the day. They're giving a CD and have to prepare a choreographed routine.

Jodhi Meares introduces tonights show with a short talk about the behavior that was seen on last weeks show and wants to reiterate that neither her, the other judges or Fox8 condone it. How will the bitchkateers be this week on Australia's Next Top Model?

With Belinda gone, Alamela is going to need to find a new friend.

After the fallout from last week's show, Demelza talks to Alamela and tries to patch things up. She wonders whether Alyce should have been given a bit more of a grilling but thinks the whole thing is going to be blown out of proportion.

The girls meet Jonathan at Naked Communications. They are learning about brands today and are asked to write down some words that describe them. Inteligant and pashonite are two words that stand out.

When you read Demelza's profile you'll note that her life motto is "Don't be a bitch".

After her behavior the last few weeks on ANTM, don't you think she's being a little bit hypocritical?

I guess it was a little bit of sweet justice seeing the judges make her cry last night though...

Alamela's Bedroom is starting to empty. Demelza doesn't believe anything Alyce says any more and thinks she's quite happy with who has left so far.

Jonathan arrives at the house to tell them that they are one their own until the photo shoot and he wont see them until then. The girls are pretty nervous about not having Jonathan's direction for a few days.

They meet Mink Sadowsky for some runway lessons. She is a model booker and is joined by Trevor Stones who is a stylist.

Mink gets the girls to walk individually. The girls are shot down as they're given some pretty strong words. Even Alamela and Alexandra who were confident are told they're not as good as they thought they were.

Demelza gets some good comments after they've all had to walk on the catwalk which has been covered in sand. They've all been struggling to walk in a straight line.

The girls then get to model underwear underneath a trenchcoat. Demelza is told she's the most improved for the day.

Everyone cried when it was Belinda who was safe and Kristy was told her journey was over.

A boat pulls up to the jetty and the girls are excited when they see who is delivering the Johdi Mail. It's Australian Olympic champion Ian Thorpe.

Today's challenge is all about fitness. They meet fitness instructor Emma Hutton who is ruthless and warns them that they're going to be pushed hard. The girls are told that in order to survive in the industry they need a strong body and a very focused mind.

They have to perform some pretty rigorous routines and then swim out to a pole as if their modelling contract was out there. Leiden wins after really pushing herself but throws up on the beach.

The girls then have to do an ab plank. Alexandra and Alamela face off but it's Alamela who blitzes the field.

Twelve girls remain. One more goes tonight.

With the elimination of Kamila last week Leiden is aware that they're not in a competition and that it's time to step up.

The doorbell rings and there is a package for the girls. They open the box and a lot of Monarch butterflies fly out of the box. There is a note from Johdi.

The girls arrive at Mahogany Salon where they meet Johdi and Jonathan. They're there with the owner of the salon,

They're all getting a new hair look today. Leiden is going Platinum Blonde. Alex is getting a lot of hair cut off and she's not happy about it. Demelza thinks that she looks like she's at a funeral.

Caris is crying about her hair colour. Once again Demelza is full of opinion about it.

For the next 11 weeks we'll be on the search for Australia's next top Model.

Last year's winner, Alice Burdeu has been wowing people in Paris, New York and Milan and has really raised the bar. Host Jodhi Meares believes that there could be five shows with the number of quality models that are turning up.

Al the girls who have made it through after the auditions arrive including friends Rebecca and Alyce.

The judges call the girls in in pairs to introduce themselves. Leiden and Jamie come in together and Johdi introduces her agent and says that if they win then she could be their agent too.

The judges want to see them walk in a bikini so they head out back to get changed before returning in 3 minutes to take to the cat walk.

Charlotte says that her first impression of Jamie was "get back on the plane and go back to Adelaide" but she likes her so much better with her clothes off.
