For the next 11 weeks we'll be on the search for Australia's next top Model.
Last year's winner, Alice Burdeu has been wowing people in Paris, New York and Milan and has really raised the bar. Host Jodhi Meares believes that there could be five shows with the number of quality models that are turning up.
Al the girls who have made it through after the auditions arrive including friends Rebecca and Alyce.
The judges call the girls in in pairs to introduce themselves. Leiden and Jamie come in together and Johdi introduces her agent and says that if they win then she could be their agent too.
The judges want to see them walk in a bikini so they head out back to get changed before returning in 3 minutes to take to the cat walk.
Charlotte says that her first impression of Jamie was "get back on the plane and go back to Adelaide" but she likes her so much better with her clothes off.
They want a much prettier walk from Leiden as she's such a a tom boy and it's showing in her walk.
The then get a photo shoot with 10 frames. Jamie takes great photos but Charlotte compares Leiden's shoot as depicting a dog giving birth to puppies.
Alamela and Kamila come in next. Priscilla Leighton-Clark thinks her face looks like a current bun with the bright black eyes and a little red mouth. Kamile was born in Poland and is confident that she is Australia's Next Top Model. Charlotte really liked her walk from behind. They think Kamila has Victoria's Secret written all over her body. Charlotte really liked Alamela's photos.
Next up are gigglers, Rebecca and Alyce. The judges really like Alyce but say that they're both possibly the best walkers they've seen all day.
Caris was worried about her body as she doesn't work out and eats junk food. They tell both Caris and Demelza that they need to loose some weight around their butts or they wont be able to fit into the size 8 clothing that they'll be being given.
The judges think Belinda is a bit fruity. Emma looked really uncomfortable and seems to have some self esteem issues. Kristy is told she has a perfect walk but she's embarrassed by the tan lines on her bottom.
Belinda's walk was awkward because she's only been in heels 5 times.
Alexandra was asleep when her name was called. She aces her interview though and they really like her walk. Charlotte almost asks for a dustpan and brush for all the names Alex dropped.
Johdi doesn't think that Samantha isn't strong enough to win. Charlotte thinks Alexandra looks like a model until she walks. Samantha and Alexandra really don't like the question about why they think they're better than each other.
Style Director Jonathan Pease hopes the girls have had a good day with the judges as the next time they see them, someone will be going home.
The girls arrive at the house and they all love the place. The place is full with so many cool things which is a lot to take in by the star struck girls. There are bags and bags of goodies which send them all into a frenzy.
The girls are given a task to come up with 5 rules to add to the list of the current ones. They really want people to clean up after each other and be mindful of how long they're using the bathroom.
With thirteen girls in house there are bound to be bitch fights. Already there are some girls who just do not like some of the others.
A TV pops up from the bench which is very "Charlies Angels" as Johdi Mail arrives. She says she could tell them what tomorrow's challenge is but she'd have to kill them.
When they arrive to the photo shoot, Fox8's creative director Travis Conneeley tells them that they're going to shoot the promo for the show. Jonathan reads out the roles for each of the girls before they head off to hair and makeup.
Rebecca is a Jungle girl and is going to be modelling with a snake which she's not too happy about because she's not too cool with them. She's freaked out by how heavy it is. She thinks her boyfriend would be so proud of her. Her inexperience shows.
Emma lets people down with her parachuting in as she's not prepared. She looks good though.
Belinda swings in on her snowboard and after a few tries she really surprises them. She says that when she's bored she gets quirky. Jonathan tells her that if she could lose the glasses and quirkiness then she could win.
Alamela is a ninja school girl who is pretending to fight with a giant mascara brush. She's told to scream and she barely manages a squeak. She needs to learn to let it go.
Everyone has to run in front of a blue screen with Rebecca rolling across on rollerskates. During the retake Belinda falls off the stage but escapes with no injuries.
Everyone has a little giggle about it and Belinda thinks everyone thinks she is a freak.
While the girls are waiting the discussions turn towards who they like and some of the things they've been talking about.
The pressure is on Alyce which she pulls off to deliver the shots the producers were looking for and not requiring a second take.
Demelza thought Alyce's job was relatively easy compared to some of the other girls.
The shoot looks a lot of fun and the producers think it was a great success.
At the end of the shoot the girls are told it was also their first challenge. The person who wins the challenge is exempt from elimination this week. That person, is Alyce. Alamela isn't happy that Alyce won. She thinks her and her friends are shallow.
There is a fuss about someone going number two's in the upstairs bathrooms. They wake Alamela while she's sleeping and she's not impressed.
Jodhi mail arrives and says they need to dress to impress for today's task. They meet Jonathan who tells them that they are working for Vogue today.
They are going to be wearing Collete
Kristie Clements thought on first look that the girls looked quite motley. She's not looking for any posing in a group shot.
Kristie isn't happy about all the tan lines. Jamie likes being tanned but has a number of lines.
The crew are wondering why all the girls have bandaids and cuts. They get a bit of a telling off for playing on a bouncy castle the day before a shoot.
Belinda has a talk with Kristie who finds her charming and quirky and an intersting prospect. Everyone else was feeling a little intimidated.
Jason Capobianco gets the girls to position themselves for a photo. Jonathan says that the "bitch crew" arrogantly take the front but he thinks that if you're going to put yourself out there then you need to really step it up.
There are questions about some of the girls who look bored and not really looking like they want to be there. Some of them aren't really performing.
Leiden was definitely one of the standouts of the day without a bad frame.
At the end of the day, they are given more Johdi Mail with a quote from Winston Churchill but most of them have no idea who he is.
Back at the house, the girls meet and talk about some of the things Alexandra have said and have found offensive. She doesn't think she should apologise for her opinion.
Alexandra has strong opinions on fashion and doesn't want to broach talking about shopping at Westfield because just would never do it.
She openly admits that she looks down her nose at others.
Before the girls head off for the judgment and elimination there is some nervous singing.
Johdi greets the girls and tells them that this week they wanted to see if they had what they had to survive in the modeling business.
The prize for this year's winner is a 12 month management contract with Priscilla's Model Management and a trip to New York. The winner will also be the face of Napolean Perdis for 12 months and get an international photo shoot. There's also a Ford Fiesta and feature in an 8 page editorial in Vogue.
On the judging panel is Charlotte Dawson, Alex Perry and guest judges Kristy Clements and Jason Capobianco.
The girls are asked for their top three girls. They all say "myself" and Kirsty, Emma and Alyce often comes up. Belinda is the only girl that doesn't put herself in the top 3. She justifies it by saying that she's still learning so shouldn't be in the top 3.
The girls really like their photos and they all look totally amazing. The judges are pretty positive about everyone. Alyce, Caris and Demelza are mentioned as favourites while there are questions Kristy, Emma and Sam while Kamila is also marked with unsure.
One of the girls is heading home. Alyce receives her photo as she is exempt. Demelza, Alamela, Caris, Leiden and Belinda start off with reasonably positive comments while Alex, Kristy, Jamie, Rebecca and Samantha have their flaws explained to them.
The two remaining girls are Emma and Kamila. One of them is staying, one of them is going. The girl leaving immediately to pack their belongings is Kamila. Emma gets to model another day.
