17-year-old Jennie Lamere has designed a plug-in called Twivo that blocks tweets if it detects keywords that may reveal important details.

With the Dutch planning the massive interplanetary project Mars One, it can’t be ruled out that one day we could possibly be watching shows that are filmed and set on other planets besides Earth.

Blake's 7Classic BBC sci-fi series Blake’s 7 is getting rebooted.

The series, which ran from 1978 to 1981, will make a comeback with 13 new episodes thanks to FremantleMedia and American network Syfy.

GameofthronesJust a couple of days after its third season premiere, Game of Thrones has been renewed for a fourth season.

HBO has greenlit another run of the drama series after its premiere on Sunday drew a series high audience in the US.

The material for the fourth season is expected to be drawn from the second half of the third book ‘A Storm of Swords’, as the third season is taken from the first half of the book.

More and more fantastic Foxtel shows are now delivered Express from the US with a host of new hit shows and returning favourites being fast-tracked to Aussie audiences by Foxtel.

Foxtel’s Express from the US strategy is a major initiative to supply the hottest series to Foxtel customers following the episode screening in the US or the UK and in many cases this is coming down to a matter of hours.

It’s not exactly the catchiest theme tune of all time (or have any words for that matter) but that hasn’t stopped the cast of Games of Thrones from trying to “sing” it for MTV News.

facebeefToday Tonight were duped by the internet troll group Facebeef, who managed to get a fake story about cyber bullying on air.

On Monday night the Channel 7 programme ran the story about a notorious internet troll called Tristan Barker, after being approached by supposed bullying victim Jasmine Vanmiddle.

The 10-minute piece featured Vanmiddle telling reporter David Ecclestone that she was one of Barker’s victims and that she was speaking out because “if you sit in silence, nothing’s going to be done”. Continue reading »
