This has been a long time coming; but it’s finally here! We’ve been celebrating all things reality television 2012 recently, but who from 2011 was able to extend their fifteen minutes of fame past their appearances? We have five contestants who are now, in one way or another, household names. This list is in no particular order!

In that regard, a show’s success or failure, or anything in between, can very easily be traced back to said face. Oops. The one entry that counts above all and it’s a day late! Looks like New Year’s Eve preparations kinda got in the way! Hope you all had a safe time. Anyway, better late than never. And here is Throng’s Reality Television Star of 2012!
Probably the only time I’ve ever done this; today’s entrant was bumped up at the eleventh hour into the number two position for the year. As we near the finish line, who could possibly have the star power to propel them to number two position?
Before you read this post; I want to let you all know that I have done a last minute switcheroo. This decision was based on the fact that I believed the third-place getter (who is now runner up!) would go further in terms of their career than the second place getter.
With that in mind, today won’t feature a female. But we do have a male winner who’s just as deserving of a top 3 placing!
Davin rounded out the top 5 yesterday; and now we move one place up. Coming third runner up is no easy feat. For example, it’s the same placing this year’s Miss Australia placed in the Miss Universe competition! Yeah! You think of that!
So, which genius funny man made it to this place? It shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.
As we now enter the top 5, these are the BEST of the reality television crop in 2012. Whether they be cult favourites or mega-hits; these guys defined 2012 and have made a lasting impression on the viewing public. And, here we are, at five!

Neighbours stalwart Ryan Moloney, who plays lovable lawyer Jarrod ‘Toadfish’ Rebecchi in the soap, is reportedly set to ditch Ramsay Street for three weeks for a stint in the Big Brother house. If all this is true, don’t worry, we won’t be seeing him bunking up with Estelle or singing ‘Oats A La Layla’ anytime soon…
