Dr. Mehmet Oz, known for his five years as the medical expert on mega-hit The Oprah Winfrey Show, is a trusted health expert, best-selling author, and world-renowned cardiac surgeon.
The hour-long series aims to help viewers live healthier and happier lives and is co-produced by Winfrey’s Harpo Productions and Sony Pictures Television.
W channel manager Penny Win said “We are thrilled to have Dr Oz join our powerhouse daytime line-up. He is the doctor that everyone would love to have looking after them and I am confident that our viewers will embrace this exciting new series.

The Dr Oz Show is produced in New York, enabling Dr Oz to film the show and continue to perform surgeries one day a week.
With Australian Neil Robertson leading Scotland’s Graeme Dott 9-7 at the conclusion of day one of the two-day WORLD SNOOKER CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL, FOX SPORTS will deliver viewers LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage of the final two sessions beginning in the early hours of Tuesday, May 4 (AEST).
The first player to 18 frames will clinch the world crown, and broadcast of the final day will commence tomorrow morning LIVE at 12.00am AEST with coverage of frames 17-24 on FOX SPORTS 1HD and FOX SPORTS 1. Then, from 5.00am AEST, LIVE coverage of frames 25-35 will screen on FOX SPORTS 3HD and FOX SPORTS 3.
Additionally, highlights of the final will screen at 5.00pm AEST on FOX SPORTS 2HD and FOX SPORTS 2 on Tuesday evening.
Robertson is aiming to join Horace Lindrum as the only Australian to have won the title. Lindrum won in 1952, while Dott was the tournament’s runner-up in 2004 and champion in 2006.
