You may have seen the Sam Kekovich hug commercial on TV recently for the launch of McDonald’s new Serious Lamb Burger. However, there is only so much humor you can cram into 30 seconds so thankfully we have the internet where creative comedians can deliver longer giggles.

The man’s mans guide to getting serious is part of the web campaign which I think is much funnier than the TV commercials. There are a series of them by the looks as well. Here’s the first one about what to do and not do if you get attacked by an angry swarm of killer bees.

I haven’t tried the Lamb Burger myself but next time I’m at drive through, you can bet that will be what I order.

With its popularity swelling and no easy way to watch for viewers without cable, HBO’s hit series “Game of Thrones” is inspiring massive levels of piracy, according to numbers from the BitTorrent-tracking and analysis firm Big Champagne. By the firm’s rough estimate, the second season of the show has been downloaded more than 25 million times from public torrent trackers since it began in early April, and its piracy hit a new peak following April 30th’s episode, with more than 2.5 million downloads in a day. When Touch launched in the UK, Throng UK’s Lynn Connolly attended a press screening hosted by BSkyB which featured a Q&A session with the star of the show, Kiefer Sutherland.  As Touch premieres tonight on Ten we thought we’d republish Lynn’s thoughts on the show here.

There’s only one caveat to that, and that is that we’re asked to accept a good deal of information in the first episode; to take a number of the fundaments of the show as a given, and therefore, I suspect if people don’t watch beyond the pilot, they might misjudge it. Continue reading »
