- MID-SEASON FINAL

On the mid-season final of COVERT AFFAIRS, the CIA attempts to obtain proof that an enemy is hiding in Russia, in the hopes of bringing them to justice.

Several months after the shooting, Annie is out of the woods but still in the process of recovery. Not one to just sit around nursing her wounds or her broken heart, she’s fixated on finding Lena, who has fled to Russia. Despite Joan, Arthur and Auggie all urging her to focus on healing, not hunting down her former boss on a personal vendetta, Annie is determined to follow a lead in Moscow. And when Joan realizes that Annie is heading to Russia whether she has permission or not, she reluctantly agrees to help in an effort to help keep Annie safe.

Though Annie’s mission sounds simple enough-make contact with a former FSB operative Dmitri Larionov (codename: Rachmaninoff), convince him to lead her to Lena, and take a photo proving Lena’s presence in Russia to help facilitate extradition talks-heading to Moscow alone is a risky move, and nothing is as simple as it sounds. Annie’s first challenge is to convince Larionov, who was once betrayed by Lena and is allegedly out of the spy game, to help her. Thanks to Annie’s doggedness, Dmitri agrees to set up a meeting with an old contact who knows Lena’s whereabouts. But even with that valuable intel, getting to her won’t be easy. As Annie soon learns, Lena is always two steps ahead-and going up against her will take all Annie’s spycraft, skill and strength.

This week on SUITS, with the continuing upheaval at the firm, Mike and Harvey reflect back on how their past decisions have influenced their present situation.

With the vote for managing partner fast approaching, Harvey asks Mike to step up in order to turn the tide in Jessica’s favor without her knowing it. Mike is only too eager to do a little bit of skullduggery for his mentor, so while Harvey takes a very personal day, Mike tries to get in touch with a former Pearson Hardman employee with ties to a dark piece of firm history…

Flashback to five years earlier, before Mike ever stumbled into the associate interviews. While Harvey is still planning his rise through the ranks at Pearson Hardman, Mike spends his days as a bike messenger and his nights trying to pick up girls with Trevor. But an intriguing proposal and some bad luck will soon change his path.

At the same time, Harvey sees his “in” when Jessica asks him to quietly investigate the disappearance of some money from the firm’s escrow accounts. His search eventually leads to the very top of the Pearson Hardman food chain, and while Harvey has no problem crossing a few lines to get ahead, he doesn’t see that the quest for a bigger office may have a price.
