This week on FIND MY FAMILY,

Dane hasn’t seen his sister Lisa in 35 years. Not since the day he was torn away from her when their parents split up. Dane was five, Lisa was three. Dane’s Dad, an alcoholic with a criminal record, took the boy. Mum took the girl. Dane’s been trying to find his mother and sister for more than twenty years, and his luck is about to change in amazing circumstances.

Amanda has had a wonderful life with the family who adopted her. But Amanda has always wondered who she really looks like. The “brother” Amanda grew up with was adopted too, and when he met his birth parents, it changed her life. Amanda realised she must search too, but how? And where…

Julie is left shell-shocked after a visit to her doctor yields a disturbing diagnosis tonight on PACKED TO THE RAFTERS. The Rafters confront in their various ways the bittersweet anniversary of grandma Louise’s tragic death and the wedding of currently-estranged Nathan and Sammy.

Julie is struggling to adjust to what she believes is the onset of menopause and the first anniversary of her mother’s death. Her father Ted handles the situation by creating a party atmosphere at Louise’s grave, believing the family has cried enough tears. Julie is uncomfortable but goes along with Ted’s wishes. However, when he invites his new lady friend Marjorie to dinner, Julie can’t help but react sensitively. With her hormones raging out of control, Julie takes herself off to the doctor.

Ted, meanwhile, cooks up a storm for Marjorie, and it’s looking like the night will end smoothly until a shell-shocked Julie returns home and announces she’s not in the mood for dinner. She proceeds to drop a bombshell on Dave and their secrecy makes Rachel assume that Julie is much sicker than she’s letting on. After sharing her fears with the family, Rachel confronts Julie, begging her to tell them the truth – does she have cancer? Julie has no option but to share the news which will rock the entire Rafter family.

Nathan wakes up alone on the morning of his first wedding anniversary. Missing Sammy like crazy, regretful of their fight, and determined to turn things around, he heads again to the Westaway house, where Trish needs only gently nudging to persuade Sammy to sort things out with her husband.

Ben is pleasantly surprised by a visit from Melissa to the Karandonis house. She reveals that she’s been home to Perth, and has reconciled with her family. She thanks Ben for putting them back in touch. When she leaves, Ben feels dejected – will she ever grant him a second chance? Carbo tells Ben he just needs to work harder to win her over. Ben tries to do just that by organising a romantic picnic but will his romantic overtures work? Just as things start to look up for the pair, a mystery man from Melissa’s past turns up unannounced.

PACKED TO THE RAFTERS stars REBECCA GIBNEY as Julie Rafter, ERIK THOMSON as Dave Rafter, MICHAEL CATON as Ted Taylor, JESSICA MARAIS as Rachel Rafter, HUGH SHERIDAN as Ben Rafter, ANGUS McLAREN as Nathan Rafter, JESSICA McNAMEE as Sammy Rafter, GEORGE HOUVARDAS as Nick ‘Carbo’ Karandonis, ZOE VENTOURA as Melissa Bannon, CAROLINE BRAZIER as Chrissy Merchant and JUSTIN ROSNIAK as Warney, with special guests GEORGE SPARTELS as Theo Karandonis, DINA PANOZZO as Rita Karandonis, JEROME EHLERS as Tony Westaway and SARAH CHADWICK as Trish Westaway and KATE FITZPATRICK as Marjorie.

RSPCA ANIMAL RESCUE follows Australia’s RSPCA inspectors as they rescue, protect and prevent cruelty to the animals of Australia.

It’s a fierce and sometimes emotional journey for the inspectors as they confront cases of horror and heartbreak during their job to rescue the lost, neglected, abandoned and abused animals of Australia – a country with one of the greatest pet populations per capita in the world.

More than 130,000 animals each year are given shelter at one of the many branches of the RSPCA across Australia. Many are rescued by the inspectors, some surrendered, and others are brought to their clinics by one of the many Animal Ambulances that support the main branch offices.

RSPCA ANIMAL RESCUE gives the viewer a close-up look at the work and care the RSPCA give to animals. It’s a sometimes high drama environment where frontline staff make life and death decisions everyday, occasionally risking their own safety for the life of an animal.

RSPCA ANIMAL RESCUE is narrated by ANTHONY FIELD.

JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED…

(March 6, 2009): The staff of Sacred Heart Hospital are scrubbing in for primetime with SCRUBS moving to 8pm Mondays on Seven from March 16.

SCRUBS focuses on the unique point of view of Dr. John “J.D.” Dorian (Zach Braff). After surviving his internship and residency at Sacred Heart, J.D. is now an attending physician with his own class of interns to guide and mentor including the abrasive Denise, the suck-up Katie and lazy Ed.

Joining J.D. at Sacred Heart Hospital are Dr. Chris Turk (Donald Faison), J.D.’s college buddy who is part of the elite surgical group; Turk’s wife, no-nonsense head nurse Carla Espinosa (Judy Reyes); as well as the beautiful but socially awkward Dr. Elliot Reid (Sarah Chalke).

Former Chief of Medicine Dr. Bob Kelso (Ken Jenkins) now keeps a watchful eye on the hospital staff from the coffee shop. Meanwhile, the caring yet abrasive Dr. Perry Cox (John C. McGinley) has just been appointed Chief of Medicine, and the hospital janitor (Neil Flynn) – J.D.’s nemesis – never seems to miss an opportunity to harass his target.

This season has already seen guest appearances by Courtney Cox and The Muppets, while Sacred Heart’s own “Ross and Rachel”, J.D. and Elliot, are back together – can they make it work this time round?!

All-new SCRUBS – moving to primetime on Seven – Monday March 16 at 8.00pm, following HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.
