This week on CITY HOMICIDE: A credential investigator is viciously strangled. Thin cord. Tight grip. By the time his body’s found, all his paperwork has disappeared. What did he uncover at the hospital he was investigating?

Waverley: My career’s in tatters, Stanley. Accusations alone have seen to that.

A credential investigator is viciously strangled. Thin cord. Tight grip. By the time his body’s found, all his paperwork has disappeared. What did he uncover at the hospital he was investigating?

In doctors we trust. But should we? The credentials of foreign surgeons are under the microscope, and the team have to ask themselves who has more to lose, the hospital, the surgeons, or the patients?

Superintendent Bernice Waverley is determined to prove she’s being framed. But she can’t do it alone. Will the team risk their positions in Homicide to help? Can Waverley keep it together long enough to save her career?

CITY HOMICIDE stars SHANE BOURNE as Detective Senior Sergeant Stanley Wolfe, NONI HAZLEHURST as Detective Superintendent Bernice Waverley, NADINE GARNER as Detective Senior Constable Jennifer Mapplethorpe, DANIEL MACPHERSON as Detective Senior Constable Simon Joyner, AARON PEDERSEN as Detective Senior Constable Duncan Freeman, DAMIEN RICHARDSON as Detective Senior Constable Matt Ryan and DAVID FIELD as Acting Detective Superintendent Terry Jarvis, with special guest LUCY BELL as Deborah Van Der Lind.

This week on TRIPLE ZERO HEROES, a first-time Dad has to act fast when his new born baby isn’t breathing; and a motorcyclist who has been ploughed down by a earth moving truck is saved by a quick-thinking witness.

Tony is forced to deliver his wife’s baby when she goes into labour after being induced earlier that day. The baby comes out blue with the chord wrapped around its neck. It’s their first baby and it’s not breathing. Fighting panic and tears, Tony unravels the chord and hands baby to Mum, just as the paramedics arrive to stimulate the baby to breathe.

A 25-year-old motorcyclist is run over by an earth moving truck when he comes off his bike on one of Sydney’s busiest roads. A passer-by calls triple zero. Despite the distressing scene he’s just witnessed, he leads a handful of witnesses to carry out life-saving instructions.

TRIPLE ZERO HEROES tells not only the rescuers’ stories, but the stories of the people they rescue, using original emergency calls, reconstructions and interviews.
