A lifesaver goes missing tonight on SURF PATROL. A volatile argument between two men on a Gold Coast beach escalates. And a young woman battles to stay alive after being rescued from a rip.

The IRB (Inflatable Rescue Boat) is considered to be a lifesaver’s most valuable tool. In tonight’s episode, Victoria’s Gunnamatta IRB has mechanical problems – and mid rescue, it capsizes in wild seas. Lifesavers are thrown clear – but in an attempt to retrieve it, one of the patrol team goes missing in the surf. Will they find him in time?

On the Gold Coast, a heated argument between two very large men in the surf looks like turning into a brawl and lifesavers have to step in to break it up.

Still on the Gold Coast, lifesavers deal with a medical emergency. A young woman has been rescued from a rip. But she’s been severely dumped, and is drifting in and out of consciousness.

BORDER SECURITY – AUSTRALIA’S FRONT LINE

The fight to protect our border continues on BORDER SECURITY – AUSTRALIA’S FRONT LINE. In tonight’s episode, a mysterious passenger has Customs baffled because the story he has is falling apart. A cigarette smoker blows his stack. And Customs make a disturbing discovery in the Mail Centre.

A passenger who has just arrived from the Philippines has caught they eye of Customs officers. They’re concerned about the length of his stay and his lack of knowledge about Sydney. He says he’s here on a holiday, but with not a lot of money and holes in his story Officers Clarinda and Greg decide to dig deeper. The man’s story isn’t holding up and the plot thickens when Clarinda finds a message to the passenger from a friend. Will this information land the passenger in trouble? Or let him off the hook?

A passenger loses his cool in Customs. He’s brought with him five packets of cigarettes over the allowable limit. Although he’s declared them, to keep them all he must pay $100 excess duty and he’s not happy about it. Because the man is so obviously upset – he is not giving Customs a chance to explain the procedure. If he can’t afford to pay the excess now, the receipt officers want to give him will allow him to pick the cigarettes up at a later date. The hostile passenger refuses to hand over his passport and tries to leave the airport. His aggressive behaviour could leave officers with no choice but to call airport security. How will the standoff end?

At Sydney’s International Mail Centre, Customs Officer Kane has just made a shocking discovery in two packages sent from Thailand. After spotting oddly shaped organic matter on the x-ray, it appears there’s four snakes within two parcels. Many attempts are made to smuggle animals in the country. And officers have come across some very cruel concealments…and many animals don’t make it. Have these snakes survived the journey? And will the culprits be caught?

In tonight’s episode of WHAT ABOUT BRIAN, Stephanie asks a secretly delighted Laura to act as Brian’s date, as Natasha sets the parameters for her relationship with Adam.

After an embarrassing photo of Brian with fledgling actress Stephanie runs in the tabloids, she’s instructed by her manager not to be seen in public with him. So Laura is secretly delighted when Stephanie invites her to go along with them to a hot Hollywood party and act as Brian’s date.

Meanwhile Deena’s new cupcake store struggles until business partner Nicole comes up with a unique way to get more customers; Natasha sets the parameters for her relationship with Adam; and it’s time for Deena and Dave to decide if they’re going to sign their divorce papers.

GREY’S ANATOMY

In tonight’s episode of GREY’S ANATOMY, things heat up between Addison and Alex and Burke plans the wedding with little help from Cristina.

As the interns of Seattle Grace cram for their upcoming exam, the attendings vie for the Chief’s position by tending to the chairman of the hospital board after he’s admitted as a patient.

Meanwhile, Burke struggles to involve Cristina in the wedding planning; things heat up between Addison and Alex; and Derek questions his relationship with Meredith.

UGLY BETTY

In tonight’s episode of UGLY BETTY, Betty struggles with a dilemma as she attempts to bail her family out of a financial crisis while juggling with the task of planning MODE’s big assistant’s week at a medieval-themed restaurant.

On the romantic front, Betty tries to give Daniel advice about his endless sexual addiction, while Alexis ponders about whether she should start taking up Rodrigo’s offer.

Meanwhile, Wilhelmina prepares for her future plans to take over MODE as she makes even bolder moves for domination behind the scenes.
