Long before Grey’s Anatomy, there was another hospital drama setting pulses racing. In 1976 the casualty doors of the Albert Memorial Hospital flung open for the first time…and THE YOUNG DOCTORS planted itself in soapie history. During its seven year run, 1,396 episodes were made and in 1982 it became the longest running series in Australian TV history.

Popular American TV star LEE MAJORS hit the big time when he starred as Steve Austin on the hit show The Six Million Dollar Man. More success followed for him in The Fall Guy, which ran for five years. Find out what the action hero has been up to since those heady days of the 70s and 80s.

In September 1985, Melbourne woman KAY NESBIT was shot in the face with a shotgun during a violent dispute between her flatmate and her boyfriend. She defied the odds and survived the callous shooting. Some 57 operations later, her face and body have been left permanently scarred but her fighting spirit remains. Tonight Kay shares her remarkable story.

Tonight’s MYSERY GUEST is an Australian tennis legend. The much-loved sports star won 14 Grand Slam titles in total: seven of those in singles.

Hosted by MELISSA DOYLE and DAVID KOCH, WHERE ARE THEY NOW takes viewers on an entertaining trip down memory lane.
