West Highland terrier, Chester lives in Bondi but has a fanatical hatred of skateboarders. It’s a dangerous combination and one that is making life hell for his owners Mark and Jess. They’re worried Chester could bite someone and end up in serious trouble. What can Dr Chris come up with to tame the savage terrier? As we have seen over the years, Dr Chris has a definite love hate relationship with Australian Reptile Park manager Tim Faulkner. Today it’s being tested again as Tim asks the Bondi vet to take bacteria swabs from some of the park’s most terrifying residents. Eyeballing a huge alligator and a 100 kilogram python… it’s going to be one of those days for the doc. Then at SASH, the terribly overweight Titch is rushed into Sash suffering from an extreme case of heatstroke. The corgi cross is just hanging on and her owners are devastated. If Titch does pull through then she’s going to have to go on a strict diet- the porky pooch’s life depends on it.

It’s a father and son team up this week on Hawaii Five-0 when veteran actor and Scott Caan’s Dad, James Caan guest stars. When a famous radio DJ is killed by an explosion in his yacht studio, Five-0 joins the case to hunt for the person who planted the bomb. Evidence initially leads McGarrett and Danny to Tony Archer, an ex-NYPD bomb technician living on a dilapidated houseboat. Tony turns out to be the godfather to Melissa Bates, the dead DJ’s daughter, and he wants to find out who murdered his friend. He teams up with Five-0 to track the murderer down.

James Caan spoke to The New York Post on his guest starring role. He tells the New York Post, “I did it just to be with my kid. He is out there in Hawaii all the time, and I really miss him. (The show’s producers) know that, and they are probably going to want me to do some more with them – and, to be honest with you, I probably would do it just to hang around with him.

“We still talk all the time. He calls me with his problems. I call him with my problems. We talk about absolutely everything – whether it is love life or health. That’s what made it so special and great.” And the 71 year old jokes he was forced to take a steep pay cut. He adds, “Scott got outraged by the o? er. But I was like, ‘Let them buy me a watch. Make it a present so that is it is clear that I am doing it because I want to hang out with you.’”

When a SEAL is found murdered on a training base, the NCIS team is sent to investigate. The murder weapon appears to be a specialized knife used largely by SEALS and when Callen suggests the killer may be a fellow SEAL, Sam defends them. Against Sam’s protests, Callen asks that the victim’s SEAL team be held back from their next mission: rescuing two Americans being held hostage on the border of Afghanistan-Pakistan border. It’s a time sensitive mission and this team has previous experience in the region, making them the only choice to execute the rescue mission. Tempers run high as Callen tries to question members of the SEAL team. Evidence is uncovered of secrets being sold to the enemy – does this provide clues to the murder?

Everyone’s favourite reluctant traveller is back in the departure lounge. But this time Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are sending Karl Pilkington around the world with a list of the ultimate things to do before you die.

Armed with this definitive bucket list, Karl will be dispatched to far flung corners of the world to swim with dolphins, travel Route 66 and stay on a desert island, in an attempt to prove whether these so called things to do before you die’ really are what they’re cracked up to be.

After seeing the Seven Wonders, Karl’s not exactly eager to travel again, so he’s only agreed to do another series if the rules change. Karl wants to choose where he goes and what he does from the Bucket List.

Ricky and Steve are both happy to go along with Karl’s wishes to get him through the departure gates. Once Karl’s back on the road, they’ll be back to their old tricks though, throwing in unwelcome surprises for Karl along the way to make sure he’s always pushed out of his comfort zone…

According to Karl, happiness is like cake, if you have to much you won’t like it any more. So- what happens when he is sent to Vanuatu, the happiest place in the world? Here he discovers land diving- the original bungy jumping, and meets a tribe that worship Prince Charles. Is this the desert island experience he was expecting?
