Chuck is like a dog with a bone when it comes to telling Gracie he is her father. . Kelly has second thoughts about telling Gracie and insists that they see a therapist to determine the best way to break the news. It becomes apparent that Chuck is quite resentful that Kelly kept it from him for all these years and wants to make up for lost time. Can Chuck talk Kelly around? And if so what will be Gracie's reaction to the news? Is it possible that Kelly could admit her feeling for Chuck?

Back at the office everyone is talking about Gerald – the great new security guard who gives everyone bear hugs, high fives and daily words of encouragement. Everyone that is, except Gary. Gary doesn’t understand why Gerald never so much as bats an eye in his direction. Marsh and Ryan try to tell Gary its because he is often curt and cruel to others… as well as arrogant, cheap and short-tempered! Gary doesn’t believe them for a second and decides to confront Gerald. It becomes clearer when Gary clicks that he and Gerald went to school together. What on earth could Gary have done to Gerald all those years ago for Gerald to still hold a grudge?
