**CHRISTMAS SPECIAL**
To get us in the festive mood, the BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS team meet up for a fun and friendly Christmas lunch.
Tara shows you how to take Christmas outdoors for an Aussie Christmas by setting the scene for a special day with a beautifully decorated table.
While Jason brings the garden inside making a wreath for your front door, some decorations for the tree and some Christmas stars to hang in the trees in your garden.
Graham will look at one of our favourite summer flowering vines the bougainvillea. He'll show you the best varieties to grow and how to maintain them, so they always bring colour to your Christmas. They're also a great addition to a water saving garden.
Rob shows you how to build a front yard scene complete with Santa in his sleigh being pulled by some Aussie favourites, kangaroos and echidnas!
Tara demonstrates how you can wrap your tricky objects and make them look like they've been wrapped by the professionals!
Ed reveals that you don’t need to spend 6 hours on a Christmas turkey; you only need a few minutes to prepare and about 90 minutes on the trusted BBQ.
To top off the Christmas food fest Karen puts a delicious new twist on a classic Australian favourite, the always popular Pavlova.
And we can’t forget our pets that have a special place in the hearts of our families. There is an amazing range of pet products and gift ideas on the market from stocking stuffers, to pet hampers and Swarovski crystal studded collars- Dr Harry looks at the latest and greatest Chrissie gifts for pets.

My mother made the biscuits in the free cook book but has since lost it. They were like a rock cake with nuts and oats in them if anyone can help me out with the recipe. Thanks

Is there a place I could get your december magazine? I have the Christmas special but missed out on the other one, the one with the free cookbook. Safeway in Yarra Junction (VIC) never gets enough. I gladly send you $10.00 if you happen to have a spare one. Perhaps Father Christmas will get me a subscription as I could not afford it on my pension.
Thank you for your wonderful and informative program. I am looking forward to it every friday.
