Anzac Special

On tonight’s episode of BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS, the creation of a new botanic garden is a rare occurrence anywhere in the world, so the creation of a radically different kind of botanic garden – focusing on Australian native flora and landscapes – is even rarer. Graham takes Johanna through one such garden that has been built at the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne, on the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

Plus, in recognition of ANZAC Day, Karen cooks up an Aussie classic – the custard tart, while Ed takes three of Australia’s favourite cuts of steak and shows you how to perfect them. ‘

Also, a DIY designer shelving unit you can build for 10% of it’s retail price; the A-Z of letter boxes; a cowboy-themed boy’s bedroom make-over; Dr Harry makes a house call on two Red Kangaroo joeys; and all you need to know about homing pigeons.

BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS is presented by JOHANNA GRIGGS with GRAHAM ROSS, DR HARRY COOPER, ROB PALMER, ED HALMAGYI, JASON HODGES, KAREN MARTINI and TARA DENNIS.
