At just 16 years of age, Demelza is the ‘baby’ of the house. She is in year 11 this year, and has taken her school work with her, studying at the house in between challenges and photo shoots. Her parents are very supportive of her entering the house despite her age and the fact she will be missing school.

Demelza loves acting, and has been studying speech and drama for about 11 years. Happiness is the most important thing in the world, she gets embarrassed by her mum and dad, and she exercises every week and maintains a healthy diet to stay in shape.

Alamela is a Year 12 student in Byron Bay where she is studying advanced English, Maths and Science. She has worked part-time as a veterinary nurse for six years, and would like to pursue a career in veterinary science.

Alamela is extremely passionate about humanitarian aid work and conservation, and her greatest fear is that “the developing world will remain without access to education.” She also thinks politics is vitally important to the world and is scared of poor leadership affecting our youth.

Hosted by former model turned fashion designer and television presenter Jodhi Meares, AUSTRALIA’S NEXT TOP MODEL is the hit reality series that follows a group of young women as they try to prove they have what it takes to make it in the high-stress, high-stakes world of modelling.

Following a nationwide audition tour last year, which saw a record number of entrants, 13 young hopefuls aged 16 to 21 were selected to live together in a waterfront mansion and star in the fourth season of AUSTRALIA’S NEXT TOP MODEL.
