7.30pm on Channel Seven
Narrated by Simon Reeve
What would become of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the years after man vanished from earth?
With humans gone, could it be possible that Australia’s kangaroo evolves to take our place?
And what of our houses, offices, roads, rivers and everything else that makes up the world in which we live?
These questions and more are asked in the literally ground breaking documentary, Life After People, making its commercial TV debut on Channel Seven this month.
Based on the opinions of leading experts in the fields of engineering, botany, ecology, biology, geology, climatology and archaeology, Life After People asks the age old question: what happens to the world when we leave it behind?
With feature film style CGI graphics, viewers will see the likely fate of the earth, animals and plants post humans.

Saturday, December 20 on Channel 7
Friday, November 21: Kate Ritchie is returning home to Channel 7 to host this year's Woolworths’ Carols in the Domain.
As the event celebrates its 26th year with the biggest line-up of Australia's top voices, Kate is excited to mark her second year as co-host.
“It’s a real honour to host,” says Kate. “As a kid we’d always watch the Carols on the TV at home. And now to be up there on that stage is amazing.
“I think the Carols make everyone stop and enjoy the Christmas spirit. Everyone gets caught up in Christmas shopping and getting ready for the day, and the Carols give everyone a moment to let the Christmas spirit wash over.”
An announcement on Kate’s co-host and the stars set to join her on stage to sing the nation’s favourite Christmas carols will be made in the near future.
The free concert is broadcast live on Channel 7 across the country on Saturday, December 20 from Sydney’s Domain.

Australian Idol Questions You - Lyrics

What are the lyics for Australian Idol finalist Wes Carr's winners single You
You
Got guitars I have never played
every Elvis album ever made
got the car that I still to learn to drive
got a house that would blow your mind
You can take what you want
cause I don't got nothing
what have I if I don't got you
You can take what you want
cause I don't got nothing
I'm nothing if I don't got you
Been to places all around the world
see the faces of so many girls
never thought I would fall in love
...not enough
You can take what you want
cause I don't got nothing
what have I if I don't got you
You can take what you want
cause I don't got nothing
I'm nothing if I don't got you
Send me away
I don't need that sorrow
If I'm broke, I'll borrow
As long as you're here by my side
Please let me know if any of these lyrics need correcting
Australian Idol Questions When We Hear Hallelujah - Lyrics

What are the lyics for Australian Idol finalist Luke Dicken's winners single When We Hear Hallelujah?
When We Hear Halleljuh
Somedays you feel it like a tonne of water
All the sons and daughters
It's a crying shame
Count your blessings as you're going under
how it makes you wonder
would it be the same
Fix the broken coffee cup
The never ending washing up
won't wait
Why do we cry
When we hear hallelujah
it does something to you
each and every life
so we all rise
and we all stand together
each and every one
somewhere we belong
'Til the sun goes down
Everybody needs someone to hold
Cause nobody told
it would be this way
if for a moment you could taste the glory
forget our worries
let the evening fade
Why do we cry
When we hear hallelujah
it does something to you
each and every life
so we all rise
and we all stand together
each and every one
somewhere we belong
'Til the sun goes down
bruised by every consequence

Is it just me or has this season of Australian Idol turned into a giant snore fest?
The people at Ten must be wondering where the voting base has gone since I can't see any of the remaining contestants having their posters on the walls of any teenage girl in the country.
Oh well, I guess American Idol will be returning to Fox8 soon enough!
