When the team talk to Camerton's (Kieren O'Brien) ex-wife, Sally Jowell (Heather Peace), it becomes clear that all is not well and they suspect that Sally is the victim of domestic abuse again, this time with her current husband, Derek (Brendan Coyle). Ex-copper Derek is now a cabbie and his cab was seen near the site of Wilson's murder.

Richard covers for Shap as long as he can and in a devastating twist, Shap finally admits that Camerton is his half-brother and he thinks he knows the truth behind Camerton's attack on Sally and who killed Wilson and Tanya. The question is: can they convince Janine and can they find enough evidence to bring in their suspected murderer? As the team finally gets to the terrible truth, Janine must decide what to do next: does she go for the promotion or stay with her team.
