A suspicious American surfer’s life is in danger when BORDER SECURITY: AUSTRALIA’S FRONTLINE returns with brand new episodes.

Also, a family follows the ‘what not to do’ guide while packing their bags and even officials are shocked at the contents of a package from India.

Like so many others, Rusty hits Australian shores headed straight for our famous surf. But all this American surfie catches is the eye of Sydney’s Immigration officials. He is referred to Customs and just as they start to suspect he is in possession of narcotics, Rusty pops a handful of pills and becomes abusive. Just when you’d think it couldn’t get more dramatic, Rusty’s condition deteriorates, he collapses and paramedics are called.

When an Indonesian family arrives they say they have nothing to declare but when their bags are x-rayed they appear to be full of food. But as Quarantine officials take a closer look, they get a big surprise, even by their standards.

And some pill bottles are cause for concern when they are spotted in a package from India on its way through the mail room. With the bottles are a couple of religious icons and a rug with some strange lumps in the corner which set off alarm bells for Customs officers. Is it as serious as it seems?
