Shirley asks Alan to argue a case that would allow her to end her father’s fight with Alzheimer’s; Jerry is sued for sexual assault; and Sack represents Nantucket Island in their quest to build an atomic bomb.
Jerry reluctantly tells Katie that his new girlfriend, Dana Strickland, is suing him for sexual assault. She found out that he sprayed himself with a hormone that causes people to trust you. He used it to help build his self-confidence, but she feels he drugged her with it.
Shirley rushes to the hospital to check on her father, Walter. He is in the final stages of Alzheimer’s, and jumped out of the second-floor window of his nursing home. Shirley is shocked and anguished to see his worsened condition. He doesn’t recognize her, and seems terrified of everyone. She tells Denny, and he wants to visit him. She resists until Denny reminds her how close they were.
Rich client William Brewster drops in on Sack. He has come with the Mayor of Nantucket Island, the vacation home of the super wealthy, to request that Sack represent them in court. They are suing the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for blocking their attempt to build an atomic bomb. Sack has trouble believing him, but Brewster convinces him that they’re serious.
