Hank wakes up from his nightmares about Karen's imminent marriage to Bill to discover his nightmare is a reality and the wedding is today. But before he and Becca can get out the door, Becca reveals a secret that requires some vintage Hank Moody problem solving.

Bill tells his daughter Mia there is no way he will allow her book to see the light of day as the character in the book’s sex fantasy is too frighteningly similar to Hank. Enraged, Mia asks him why he’s so sure it’s a fantasy at all…

Meanwhile, Karen admits to Marcy (Pamela Adlon) she slept with Hank after his father died. Marcy uses her wily ways to facilitate a last chance meeting between Karen and Hank but Hank takes the high road and wishes her and Bill well – but what does Karen really want?

The ceremony goes off without a hitch, until Mia steps in and drops a bombshell, telling the guests that her father and Karen are not right for each other. Hank tries to minimise the damage by having a word with her but it backfires tremendously when Mia spills the truth to all about her and Hank have sex. Bill, understandably, attacks Hank whilst Karen, Becca and the guests demand answers. Hank is just about to reveal

the truth when Mia saves him and says the fantasy scenario in the book is just that – a fantasy. Without further ado, the wedding proceeds and Bill and Karen are husband and wife.

It seems the many loose ends in Hank Moody's life are now tied up and there may be hope for him to move on after all. But all is not as it seems and just when you start to think you know how the next series will play out, a nice juicy twist comes charging through. A cracking Season Finale.
