Home and Away’s Logie winning actor Lincoln Lewis has admitted filming himself and another teenage TV starlet having sex with a mobile phone.

The footage from the sex tape was shown to castmates and colleagues of the the Channel 7 soap which left them unimpressed and urging him to delete it.

Apparently, Lincoln is remorseful and blames it on “doing stupid things when you’re young”.

Insiders at Seven are understood to be taking the matter very seriously and some counselling is very likely to be happening for the network’s rising star and teenage heart throb of girls across Australia.

It is said that the recording has since been destroyed.

Lewis, who is the son of Rugby League legend Wally Lewis, will appear in the upcoming series of Dancing with the Stars.

Channel Seven announced today it will suspend regular programming to take live coverage of the historic 2008 US Presidential Election.

Seven’s coverage will begin from the moment the polls close on the American East Coast at 11am AEDT, Wednesday November 5.

Seven’s American broadcast partner, NBC – the leader in television news in the United States – will provide expansive live coverage of the count as well as on-the-spot reports from the Barack Obama and John McCain camps.

This Seven News initiative – in conjunction with NBC News – recognises that this US Presidential Election is the most significant in decades.

“The implications of this election reach far beyond the USA” said Channel Seven CEO, David Leckie.

“There is massive interest in the outcome. Our coverage will ensure that Australians will be kept up-to-date on all the twists and turns of the vote count.”

According to The Daily Telegraph, Jodhi Meares has dumped Priscilla Leighton-Clark of Priscilla’s – the model agency which provides representation for the winners of Australia’s Next Top Model – as her own agent.

With her career somewhat in tatters after the no-show at the final of this year’s season, Meares is looking less likely to be hosting another series. Something that is likely to fall to Charlotte Dawson who replaced her as host at the final.

The 37 year old former bikini model is rumored to be planning on quitting Australia and moving to France.

After making her grand entrance into the Big Brother house, Pamela Anderson visited one of the stores of the shows major sponsors to protest KFC’s treatment of chickens.

The buxom 41 year old ambassador for animal welfare group PETA visited a Gold Coast outlet where she hand delivered a letter and accompanying video addressed to Albert Baladi, the managing director of KFC’s Australian parent company Yum! Restaurants International. The letter claimed that the fast food chain’s suppliers scald chickens to death in defeathering tanks.

The letter reads:

“I’ve been in Australia filming Big Brother House, in which my housemates and I are confined and sealed off from the outside world, much like the chickens who are crammed inside barns for KFC.”

“Fortunately, I won’t be stomped to death, have my legs broken or be scalded to death in a tank of hot water, yet as PETA’s undercover videos have revealed, the chickens raised for KFC’s restaurants in Australia often suffer these abuses.”

You can just imagine how happy the sponsors must be over all this extra publicity.
