Country superstar Trace Adkins faced off against Penn Jillette in the competition both of them came so close to winning their first time around. Adkins participated in the first-ever “Celebrity Apprentice,” coming in second to Piers Morgan. Guy Pearce returns to ABC1 in new Jack Irish telemovie
Emmy award-winning actor, Guy Pearce is reprising his role as one of crime literature’s most reluctant heroes in Jack Irish – Dead Point; the third instalment based on the award winning novels by author Peter Temple. Produced by Essential Media and Entertainment for ABC1, the telemovie has begun filming in Melbourne, with Barry Humphries, Deborah Mailman, Kat Stewart, Vince Colosimo, John Jarratt and Kate Beahan joining Guy and the regular cast. Emmelie de Forest has won the 2013 Eurovision Song Competition for Denmark with her song Only Teardrops. In a bizarre situation, the host of the event announced Denmark as the winner before the remaining votes from Cyprus and Croatia were counted. With Denmark 47 votes ahead of second place this didn’t turn out to be a problem. Continue reading »
Nicola has been hit in a traffic crash that has seen the character die. The poor woman – just trying to get a was just trying to get a washing machine from the side of the road when she was hit by a car.
Thank God it wasn’t Gemma – Julia Morris’s character as the tweets were saying. I thought it would be one of Lewis’s kids (Lucy or Phoebe) I must admit i was shocked at this, yet knew would come in the last seconds.
