ruffoAdam Hills really wanted to win the Gold, especially as it was the first time his mum had attended the awards. I told him I thought he would win and he hoped my prediction would come true! Oops!

Alex Williams (Underground – The Julian Assange Story) has no projects currently in the works and seemed extremely humble by all the accolades he was recieving.

Michael Buble was extremely generous with his time to both the media and fans – much to the chargrin of his publicist and minders. He was flirty, funny and what you see is what you get with him. A few people there (who are DEFINITELY not as famous) could take some lessons from him! Continue reading »

tbl logiesCommando and Shannan Ponton from The Biggest Loser came over for a chat and told me how upset and appalled they were that they had to choose someone to go home on Sunday nights episode. I revealed that I knew the outcome aand they were interested to know how it was edited and how it came across to the viewer. What upset the guys most though was the way that Rosemary treated Michelle, they were still fired up about her F bomb rant and especially the fact that she never apologised properly. These guys really have a camaraderie and it felt like they were Michelles protective brothers. Continue reading »

dr chris smallThe Logies Red Carpet was an amazing experience. I interviewed many favourites but here is my best of the night! More will follow – but Dr Chris is the best! Especially in a Tux!

I have always admired the brilliant vet , Dr Chris Brown from Bondi Vet. His compassion, kindness and his sincerity is to be admired. The highlight of my night was meeting him. When I first introduced myself as “Alicia from Throng”, he replied with “I know Throng! I follow you on twitter” WOW! Not only looks and brains but great taste in blogs, he was the nicest guy of the night. Continue reading »

jimmy and jayOutgoing “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno congratulated his replacement Jimmy Fallon at the start of his opening monologue on Wednesday night, while taking another swipe at the NBC executives that are showing him the door.

“I just have one request of Jimmy. We’ve all fought, kicked and scratched to get this network up to fifth place, okay? Now we have to keep it there.” he deadpanned. “Jimmy don’t let it slip into sixth. We’re counting on you.”

Leno will wrap up his 22-year run as host in spring 2014, with Jimmy Fallon officially signing on as his replacement. Continue reading »

mkrlogoOut of the kitchen and into the nursery for MKR’s Josh and Andi

A surprise pregnancy brings Josh and Andi’s time on My Kitchen Rules to a happy end. Good luck to them and when will we ever say goodbye to the bitches Ashlee and Sophia that are turning me off watching? I am SOOOO sick of their pure bitterness, attitude and I am so sick of the “babe” comments. I watched The Biggest Loser in advance while MKR was on last night as I am really just fed up now.

Just one point separated the teams in tonight’s sudden death cook-off, but in the end the scores would not have made a difference to the departure for WA couple Josh and Andi. Continue reading »
