“Glee” star Cory Monteith has checked into rehab.The actor’s representative confirmed the news on Easter Sunday saying that the actor “has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction.”

“He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery,” the rep added in the statement.

This isn’t the first time the 30-year-old actor, who stars as Finn Hudson on Fox’s music-themed comedy-drama, has been to rehab. Continue reading »

Goodbye to that fresh and funny face each weekday morning! Grant Denyer has left Sunrise!

After 10 years as Sunrise’s resident rover, weatherman Grant Denyer has resigned.

Denyer, who has held the position on and off for the past 10 years, said he was leaving to spend more time with wife Cheryl and young daughter Sailor.

“It’s the greatest job in the world, but … now that Sailor is nearly two she probably needs to find out who her dad is,” he said. Continue reading »

Award-winning writer/producer Don Payne, one of the creative minds who contributed to “The Simpsons,” died this week at his home in Los Angeles.

According to reports, he lost his battle with bone cancer.

I was lucky enough to get to go to the Sydney taping on Saturday 23 March 2013. As a huge Ellen fan I was super excited. I started off leaving my house at about 9am, got on the train to Circular Quay and had a leisurely walk past the Opera House and through the Botanic Gardens where I met some girls who were a little lost so we decided to walk there together since I knew the way. We arrived at about 10.45am and got in a huge queue. We were given pink wristbands and free QANTAS hat. We were told after about 10 minutes waiting that we were guaranteed to get in, I was so happy.  Continue reading »
