I find watching TV very enjoyable and watch at least four hours each day.
I do not know anyone who has/had a ratings box. How accurate can these ratings results be? It’s such a small cross section of people. This topic often comes up in conversation and I cannot even find anyone who even knows of someone with the ratings box. Based on what I know about the ratings process and as a professional acountant and business owner, I would not place any credibility in the numbers produced. I certianly would not want to produce any financial results or recommendations this way. I cannot beleive it’s such a hot news topic each week.
Out of interest, how often do you see ads on television for Car Insurance Quotes? What have been some of the best ones you’ve seen over the years?
Hit us up with some you tube links to your favourite auto insurance ads and tell us why you like them and post them in the comments below.
I Saw 5 minutes of a “sneek peek” episode of a new program, which had people dressed as cats and dogs as well as regular characters. Does did anyone see it? If so what was it called and what channel will it be coming to. I was quite entertained for the very small piece I saw.
I am hoping someone can answer my question. Quiet some time ago, there was a young guy on RPA (I can’t remember his name) who discovered he had bone cancer in the lower part of his leg. They had to amputate part of his leg and he was a real keen soccer player and was worried about whether he could ever play again. His doctor was the same doctor who operated on Daniel (the young guy who had his arm amputated and unfortunately loss his fight with cancer). Does anyone know this guys name and what happened to him? I would love to know as I think of him and his family often.
I think they’re over for good this time and I’m guessing Aden and Nicole will hook up.
Belle should stay single for a while I think… she’s never really been single for long on the show. Get her involved in some other stuff after all her sagas last year and this year… or maybe it’s time to leave the Bay?
OR do you think Aden will now go do that Uni course and leave the show since the only reason he didn’t go was to look after Belle?
Let me know!!
What did you guys think of Charlie and Joey kissing on Home and Away???
Network Ten today announced it had appointed Roving Enterprises to produce a new 7 pm showfor the Network.
Network Ten chief programming officer David Mott said: “I am delighted to confirm we will onceagain be joining forces with Roving Enterprises – the team who so successfully brought to airsome undisputed favourites for TEN, including Rove, Before the Game and 5 th Grader.”
Speaking of TEN’s 2009 line-up for the 7 pm timeslot, Mr Mott said: “We have The BiggestLoser, which goes straight into MasterChef and, for the second half of the year, we will have ourbrand new show.”
Speculation about the format for the new show has been rife since it was flagged at Network Ten’s 2009 program launch.
Quizzed on the format, Mr Mott said: “That’s strictly under wraps for now, but I can tell you(again) …
• It is NOT a drama
• It is NOT a quiz show
• It is NOT a reality format or a repeat sitcom
• BUT it is uniquely Australian.”
Equally coy on the format was Roving Enterprise’s executive producer / creative director, Craig Campbell, although Mr Campbell confirmed that development would commence immediately onthe new Melbourne-based production.
“We are thrilled to have won this opportunity to do a brand new show for TEN,” Mr Campbell said. “Ours has proven to be a very successful partnership – producing a diverse slate of shows – and we can’t wait to get underway with this exciting new show.”
Further production details – oh, and format – will be announced in coming months.
