ANOTHER departure… Robert Mammone has confirmed that he has left Home & Away, speaking today on Twitter. The actor who made his first appearance on Home & Away in 2009 cited ‘speaking up for the truth too often’ as the reason that his character Dr. Sid Walker has been written out. Continue reading »
In over four years of being closely involved with TV, this right now has to be one of the worst periods ever for last minute programming changes and amendments. Continue reading »
Monday night’s first semi-final episode of Celebrity Splash only got 821,000 viewers nationally.
It was thrashed by rival Nine’s The Voice which averaged a whopping 1.962 million viewers.
Seven has now decided that Celebrity Splash’s second semi-final – scheduled for next Monday night – won’t screen at all. Celebrity Splash’s Grand Final will now screen on Thursday May 16 at 8.45pm. Continue reading »

Is it me or has SMASH done just that and smashed. Where has The Ivy and Karen story line gone? What happened to the great Bombshell show?

The night now looks like this: Continue reading »

Well, not in 2013. For that to happen this year, MKR would have to finish next week. The combination of an early Easter this year and an extra round of instant restaurants has guaranteed this years’ MKR will be the shows’ longest season yet. And why not – with figures around 2 million tuning in each night. Continue reading »
We’re still 6 months out from election day, but if the polls are to be believed, Tony Abbott is destined to be elected Australia’s 28th Prime Minister. After coming so close three years ago, the “new Tony” is determined to win this time, and is going to great lengths to convince us he’s a changed man. Even his gay sister is speaking out, to endorse the new and improved Tony Abbott – a 21st Century man who can admit the mistakes of his past. And while blood runs thicker than water it’s still a hard act for her to sell.
By the way – love the gay pride scrubs! Continue reading »
