SUNDAY 9 NOVEMBER / 7.30: FINAL 4 PERFORM
MONDAY 10 NOVEMBER / 7.30: FINAL 4 VERDICT

*** INTERNATIONALY RENOWNED MUSICIAN CHRIS ISAAK WILL BE THE GUEST JUDGE AND MENTOR FOR THE SUNDAY NIGHT SHOW ***

THEME: BORN IN THE USA – #1 US HITS

This week the remaining four contestants will be belting out songs that have been #1 hits in the United States of America, in front of international superstar, Chris Isaak who is joining Australian Idol as a guest judge and mentor for this week.

With a plethora of songs to choose from, the Idols will be spoilt for choice, but what will Chris Isaak think of them and their song choice?

With only two weeks to go before the Australian Idol Finale at the Sydney Opera House, this is the second last opportunity the Idols will have to convince Australia to vote for them, in order to remain in the competition. Tensions will be running high but the Idols will need to remain composed in order to deliver a winning performance.

Chris Isaak will impart his valuable advice gained from years as a successful artist in the music
industry on to the Idols as they each have a one-on-one mentor session with him. He will sit alongside regular judges Kyle Sandilands, Marcia Hines and Ian “Dicko” Dickson to critique, comment and encourage the Idols as they perform on the Sunday night.

Voting lines open as soon as the final contestant has performed on the Sunday night, giving Australia an opportunity to vote for their favourite contestant and hopefully keep them in the competition.

On Monday night, the bottom three contestants will be announced, as voted by the Australian public. Those three contestants will be required to perform once again and the voting lines will reopen, giving Australia a second chance to save their favourite Idol. The one contestant with the least cumulative votes, from both Sunday and Monday night, will leave the show, bringing the remaining five contestants one step closer to becoming Australian Idol 2008.
