Emmelie de Forest has won the 2013 Eurovision Song Competition for Denmark with her song Only Teardrops. In a bizarre situation, the host of the event announced Denmark as the winner before the remaining votes from Cyprus and Croatia were counted. Nicola has been hit in a traffic crash that has seen the character die. The poor woman – just trying to get a was just trying to get a washing machine from the side of the road when she was hit by a car.
Thank God it wasn’t Gemma – Julia Morris’s character as the tweets were saying. I thought it would be one of Lewis’s kids (Lucy or Phoebe) I must admit i was shocked at this, yet knew would come in the last seconds.

Channel 9 have refused to apologise to the parents of a baby girl who was branded “ugly” by panellists on The Footy Show and likened to rugby league great Peter Sterling. While “ugly” is harsh it’s not far from the truth! Are all babies beautiful?
Michael and Melanie Richmond, from Avalon on Sydney’s northern beaches (who can afford surgery then) , said they were “still in shock and dumbfounded” after a Facebook image of their firstborn daughter Bella was broadcast on Thursday’s episode of The Footy Show without their permission. Unfortunately, tonight it is time to say goodbye to the grey team, Mandy and Brett. They leave the The Biggest Loser: The Next Generation house with a combined weight loss of a mind-blowing 79 kilos.

In a very sad announcement, Natalie Turner, the police woman who bravely fought two bouts of aggressive cancer, has sadly lost her battle. Featured on ACA, Natalie won the hearts of many Australians.
Natalie Turner, 34, passed away yesterday from ovarian cancer.
She was surrounded by her precious daughter Emily, 8, and her husband Matt Turner, whom she married earlier this year that ACA paid for and aired. Continue reading »
Former Packed To The Rafters star Justin Rosniak is in a stable condition in hospital after an horrific car crash in Western Sydney on Friday night.
Rosniak, who played Stuart “Warney” Warne in 21 episodes of Rafters and starred in Underbelly: Razor, was thrown from his van after a high-speed crash on Mulgoa Rd in Mulgoa just before 11pm.
The 36-year-old actor was taken to Westmead Hospital suffering head injuries, a fractured arm and multiple abrasions. Continue reading »

Candice Glover is the new “American Idol” winner. The 23-year-old beat out Kree Harrison to take the “American Idol” crown for Season 12.
Glover is the first female winner since Jordin Sparks won “American Idol” Season 6. Third time’s the charm it seems, this season was the third time Glover tried out for “American Idol.”
