Smash has been cancelled after two series, yet again another drama gone while idiotic TV remains on the screen. OK,as a fan of Smash, I actually think it lost it’s way and needed to end. After the first series I wanted to see “Bombshell” the musical that was apparently going to Broadway in real life actually happen. The woman known to Australian TV viewers as “Mrs Marsh” through her commercials for Colgate toothpaste, has died at her home in Noosa on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. For anyone of that era she was a regular fixture on our TV screens and quite an icon.
The popular TV campaign which began in the late 1970s featured Barbara Callcott as Mrs Marsh, who snapped a stick of chalk which had been dipped into a glass of dyed water, to show how the toothpaste penetrated enamel to protect teeth. Continue reading »

Arena’s Neil Patrick Harris has been announced as the host of the 67th Annual Tony Awards, for the third year running. Foxtel’s Arena will broadcast the Awards exclusively live from Radio City Hall in New York City from 10am on Monday June 10, 2013.
The Emmy Award-winning actor is best known for his role in the hit comedy, How I Met Your Mother, screening weeknights at 7.30pm on Arena. This is the fourth time Neil Patrick Harris will front the awards, previously hosting the 63rd, 65th and 66th Annual Tony Awards. Continue reading »
