In this week's episode of Doctor Who: The Fires Of Pompeii, the Doctor and Donna travel back into ancient history.
When they arrive in 79AD, however, they discover psychic powers and beasts of stone running riot in the streets of old Pompeii. The time-travellers face their greatest challenge yet - can established history be changed, or must the Doctor let everyone die?
David Tennant stars as the eccentric Doctor roaming space and time and defeating alien monsters in the return of this popular science-fiction series. His companion in time-travel is award-winning actress Catherine Tate, as Donna Noble.
The filming of this episode took place at Cinecitta studios in Rome.
