This week's guest include sporting legend Liz Ellis and HG Nelson.

Paul McDermott is the host and judge and always has the final say (well at least he tries to!). Mikey Robins and Claire Hooper are the team captains and each week they are joined by two guests each. Each team tries to outwit and outsmart each other when it comes to misrepresenting the news of the week!

Hosted by the acid-tongued cherub of satire, Paul McDermott, Good News Week is one of Australian TV’s most successful current affairs comedy shows and blazed a trail for shows such as "Spicks & Specks" and "The Glass House". GNW looks at everything going on in the world: politics, sport, entertainment, religion, science, crime, human interest, events big and small, people we owe money to, heroes and villains, and much more.

Each week, Paul and Captains Mikey Robins and Claire Hooper are joined by four special guests who compete against each other to decipher, dissect, deconstruct and completely misrepresent the news of the week.

There are games involving the whole team and games which pit individual guests against each other. The games use videotape, still photos, newspaper clippings, headlines and enormous props. Some games even involve the guest showing off their mime, combat or interpretive dance skills!
