The Packer Dynasty finally has a new heir.  Jackson Lloyd Packer, born at Mater Misericordiae Hospital at Crows Nest, on Sydney's North Shore, is the first son for James and Erica and is in line to be the fifth Packer to carry the family torch.

Jackson's middle name is in honour of the Packer family's long time friend, racehorse trainer and businessman Lloyd Williams.

"To be honest, it made me feel better as a teacher to hear others being put down," she said. "I was out there on my own, I had no sense of how I was doing in class, and the gossip gave me some connection. And I felt like it gave me status, knowing information, being on the inside."Juicy gossip moves so quickly - He did what? She has pictures? - that few people have time to cover their ears, even if they wanted to."I heard a lot in the hallway, on the way to class," said Mady Miraglia, 35, a high school history teacher in Los Gatos, Calif., speaking about a previous job, where she got a running commentary from fellow teachers on the sexual peccadilloes and classroom struggles of her colleagues.

TRANSFORMERS 2: Revenge of the Fallen star Isabel Lucas may be considering 'pulling out' of the planned animal rights documentary Rights Revoked to be filmed with actress and former friend Elissa Sursara.

Lucas, who has reportedly "grown apart" from Sursara since her success in the TRANSFORMERS sequel feels there may be tension between the two former friends if they attempt to work so closely together, "particularly if we are filming things that may trigger anger and other messy emotions."

MTV VJ Ruby Rose Langenheim has reportedly stolen the girlfriend of one-time friend Lola Van Vorst.

Van Vorst, who was a contestant on this years Australia's Next Top Model told says "it sucks" that Langenheim has double crossed her, sharing her sadness at being dumped by her model girlfriend Lyndsey Anne for the lesbian MTV star.

"We were on the rocks for a while and then it (the relationship with Rose) just happened,'' said Von Vorst. "I'm still totally in love with her (Anne), which sucks.''

Langenheim and her new girlfriend are reportedly thinking of wedding in Canada this year, but a rep for the VJ claims "that is totally false. Ruby doesn't have the time for a wedding any time soon."

Home and Away's Logie winning actor Lincoln Lewis has admitted filming himself and another teenage TV starlet having sex with a mobile phone.

The footage from the sex tape was shown to castmates and colleagues of the the Channel 7 soap which left them unimpressed and urging him to delete it.

Apparently, Lincoln is remorseful and blames it on "doing stupid things when you're young".

It is said that the recording has since been destroyed.

Channel Seven announced today it will suspend regular programming to take live coverage of the historic 2008 US Presidential Election.

Seven’s coverage will begin from the moment the polls close on the American East Coast at 11am AEDT, Wednesday November 5.

Seven’s American broadcast partner, NBC – the leader in television news in the United States - will provide expansive live coverage of the count as well as on-the-spot reports from the Barack Obama and John McCain camps.

This Seven News initiative – in conjunction with NBC News - recognises that this US Presidential Election is the most significant in decades.

“The implications of this election reach far beyond the USA” said Channel Seven CEO, David Leckie.

“There is massive interest in the outcome. Our coverage will ensure that Australians will be kept up-to-date on all the twists and turns of the vote count.”

According to The Daily Telegraph, Jodhi Meares has dumped Priscilla Leighton-Clark of Priscilla's - the model agency which provides representation for the winners of Australia's Next Top Model - as her own agent.

With her career somewhat in tatters after the no-show at the final of this year's season, Meares is looking less likely to be hosting another series. Something that is likely to fall to Charlotte Dawson who replaced her as host at the final.
