Alf fires Ric and gives him a one-way ticket to Perth but he sees Matilda with Nathan when he gets there. Roman supports Martha's decision which angers Jack.

Roman, Jack and Martha

Jack tells Roman that Martha has been advised to terminate the pregnancy so she can have chemotherapy. Jack asks a shocked Roman to convince Martha to have the treatment to save her life.

Roman visits Martha in hospital but doesn't manage to convince Martha to change her mind. She tells him she had a termination last year and she says this is her way of making up for it and won't have the treatment until after the baby is born.

Martha tells a disappointed Jack that Roman is supporting her decision to have the baby.

At Roman's, Jack rants at Roman for supporting Martha and says if she dies, it will be on his head!

Roman and Charlie

Roman tells Charlie that he needs to keep things casual with Charlie for now since he has so much on his plate and doesn't want to hurt her. Charlie says that's ok by her.

Ric, Matilda and Nathan

A drunk Nathan invites Matilda out to a party but Matilda turns him down. She tells her roommate that Nathan's a nice guy but it's too soon to date someone else and would feel like she's cheating on Ric or something.

Her roommate convinces her to call Ric and say that she's going to start seeing other people but Ric's already in bed due to the time difference.

Meanwhile, Alf finds it tough keeping Ric's mind on the job. Ric apologises for not focussing on work but Alf decides to fire him anyway - and gives him a one-way ticket to Perth! Alf says he has to follow his heart and says there will always be a job back her for him if it doesn't work out. Ric thanks him and then goes and says goodbye to everyone.

In Perth, Matilda asks Nathan out to dinner. The next morning, Matilda and Nathan are in bed next to each other when Ric turns up! Matilda says it's not what it looks like.
