Kirsty hands back Bartlett's money. Belle and Aden realise it will take time to get intimate. Annie gets up on the school roof, after Jai does to get his school bag back.

Jai and Annie

Miles, Alf and Kirsty wonder if Jai is interested in joining the surf life saving team but he's not.

Annie is all excited still to have held Jai's hand and tells Belle in confidence.

At school, Jai tries to talk to some guys but they call him a freak and later hassle him some more by chucking his bag on the school roof! So later, Jai climbs up on the roof to go get the bag. Annie freaks out and the rest of the school comes to watch. Suddenly, Jai jumps off the roof and down a few levels onto the ground - he's ok. Annie's frustrated with Jai's risk taking.

Miles and Bartlett are furious that he could have really hurt himself.

Geoff warns Annie that Jai has issues that she can't fix.

Alf and Miles think Jai should get some counselling over Axel's death.

Later that night, Annie goes missing - and Jai finds her sitting on the school roof!

Belle and Aden

Irene is worried about Belle now that she's back together with Aden and he stays the night. She warns Geoff that if he mucks Belle around, he'll have her to deal with.

Aden wants to make it up to Belle with a surprise after work - he has a big bunch of flowers for her and they start to kiss on Belle's bed... until Belle says to stop. Aden and Belle argue and Aden says she has so much experience and he's just a dud for a boyfriend. Belle says "is that was you seriously think it's all about?"

Aden said he thought it would fix his problem if he told her what happened and feels like such an idiot for forcing it to prove he wants to be with her. Belle forgives him and says it won't always be like this. Aden says it feels like he hits a wall and he hates himself. Belle says the more she knows about him, the more she likes him and says there's no rush for anything to happen. Aden says she has to be the most perfect girlfriend ever. Belle says in the meantime they can hold hands, it's enough for her.

Kirsty and Bartlett

Kirsty asks Bartlett about the money in her account. He says payroll are hopelessly slow with these things and he wanted to help her now while she had the need. He says he's in a position to help until the back pay comes through.

Kirsty and Miles talk about the appropriateness of taking the money and decide she shouldn't.

Kirsty gives Bartlett the money back, thanks him and says she thinks he's incredibly generous but can't accept his help.
