Melody’s crush is getting out of control.

Kirsty

Bartlett quickly says his date cancelled and he quickly needed one for the evening and it's not normally the sort of thing he'd do.

Kirsty says it's not normally the thing she does and says this is just a date for the money, nothing else. Bartlett asks if Miles knows about this and Kirsty asks him not to say. Kirsty says she needs the money for Kane's appeal.

Meanwhile, Irene encourages Leah to take Rachel and Tony's tickets to the ball since they're not going. Since Miles is home alone, she calls him up and invites him along too.

Kirsty is shocked to see Miles and Leah turn up at the ball! She tries to leave but sees Miles and Leah! Kirsty lies saying her boss gave her a treat since she'd been working so hard but has to go back to work. Miles and Leah think she's acting very strange so Miles chases up with her - thinking she's not impressed that he's there with Leah. Before she goes, she privately asks Martin again not to say anything.

Miles and Leah have fun dancing at the ball together. When they bump into Martin, he covers for her.

The next day Bartlett tries to give Kirsty a loan so she doesn't have to keep working the escort job Kirsty doesn't take it and just wants him to keep his mouth shut.

Geoff, Melody and Nicole

Nicole gets Geoff to help her with an english assignment and is annoyed to find Melody hanging out with him, distracting him from work.

Melody wants Geoff to win the student captain award and makes some fliers for his campaign. Melody wants to run for the Year 10 student council rep.

Nicole says Melody still has feelings for him, but Geoff doesn't think anything is going on.

Melody tells Geoff that he gets her, and things are just like they used to be. Geoff gets uncomfortable.

Melody thanks Nicole for leaving so they could have some alone time together. She tells her that it's just a matter of time before they get back together as they belong together.

Tony and Rachel

Rachel apologises to Tony for shutting him out over Joe. Tony wants them to be parents together and promises her it will happen.
