Nicole and Nat

Nat tries to get back in Nicole's good books by saying she'd like a fresh start with her but Nicole just gets angry at her mother's lies and storms off, with Geoff comforting her. Nicole hangs out at Geoff's.

Meanwhile, Roman offers Morag's room to Nat to stay in for the night, much to Charlie's disapproval.

The next morning, Nicole ignores her mother. Nat even tries turning up at school to talk to her but that backfires too. Roman says she needs space but will come around eventually.

To Nat's surprise, Nicole gives her a week to see if they can get on.

Belle and Aden

Belle continues to promise Aden that she'll tell Angelo she's back with him as soon as he's recovered. Until then, they'll continue to keep their relationship secret.

Meanwhile, Aden suggests Belle try contacting Murray again for more information on the development but his phone number is disconnected. Belle tries another number and talks to him, telling him he was right about the development site and she has proof. Murray says he can't help her but feels terrible when he learns that people have been getting sick from the chemicals. He makes a call to someone, saying they have to meet.

Determined, Belle goes door knocking to find out who else has been affected by cancer to try and get release forms for the medical records. She meets one woman whose husband died of prostate cancer but she's unwilling to sign a consent form.

Finally, Belle comes across Dane and wants to talk to him about Joe. She tries to talk but Dane just gets angry, he thinks Joe's death is all his fault. So Belle gets Rachel to go talk to him with her and they explain that it could be to do with the chemicals in the soil. In the end, Dane agrees to sign the form so an investigation can take place.

Murray agrees to meet with Belle and assures her he wasn't paid off, it was a relocation fee. He wants to help with her investigation (but of course is now working for the developers) but Belle is cautious about handing anything over to him. Murray is told by the developers that the toxic material is being removed next week from the site.

When Belle is out driving that night, a car runs her off the road! She hits her head on the steering wheel.
