Sal (Sue Johnstone) is getting used to living on her own. Despite the odd unwanted visit from Kate Bales (Rosie Cavaliero) and the fact she still hasn't sorted out her late husband's belongings, she is coping fine.

However, Sal does miss her job at the surgery and when she sneaks in to give a patient some emergency treatment, she is caught red-handed by an unimpressed James.

Tash (Sally Phillips) finally has a job working in the pub. Meanwhile, the Vicar is fed up with the Sunday service being interrupted by Eileen (Maggie Steed) and Queenie (Doreen Mantle).
