This week Dan travels 18 years into his past on an undetermined mission to help someone or something - but what? Attempting to warn the people of San Francisco about an imminent earthquake, he calls the FBI but no one will listen. Will he save the city from a natural disaster or is there another reason for his time travel? Dan learns that sometimes the reasons are not always obvious and he must rely on his instinct.

When he meets a man with a gambling addiction, he is compassionate. Having suffered a gambling addiction of his own, he attempts to help him. Is this his mission? Dan researches the man and discovers he will kill himself in two days time due to his gambling addiction. Does he attempt to help the city stop a natural occurance or does he help a man overcome his own misery?
