Firefighters make a horrific discovery when they discover a pregnant woman's body, Jenna Ludlow, hidden beneath fire debris.

Detectives Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson are called to the scene and question the victim's affluent fiancé, PJ Barlett (guest star Matthew Davis).

Interrogating Barlett and his family proves to be a challenge, as Attorney Trevor Langan (recurring guest star Peter Hermann), who represents the wealthy coffee-trading family, is covering their mistakes across the country.

But when an affair between Ludlow and her fiancé's, Peter Bartlett (guest star Stephen Collins) is revealed, the detectives unveil a web of family secrets including conspiracies, sex and blackmail.
Was it a family murder or did Jenna die in a horrendous accident?
